I wanted to tell stories since I was a kid. After years in corporate writing and magazines, I jumped into film and TV in 2004, selling my first television pilot to CBS. I produced the groundbreaking digital series MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY for Warner Brothers and later wrote and produced the DEAD RISING movies for Legendary Pictures and Sony.
A lifelong gamer, I started writing for Computer Gaming World in 1991. Soon after breaking into film, I began to do double duty writing games. To date, I've written or consulted for more than a dozen games of all sizes. I'm best known for writing the award-winning AAA game SLEEPING DOGS.
During Covid, I divided my time between playing Dungeons and Dragons online with friends and venturing into narrative fiction. I continue to work in video games, fiction, film, and television.
